We Should Be Embarrassed
We are a congregation of over 600 adults. And yet, we continue to have problems with morning and (sometimes) evening minyans.
When it comes to the future, there are three kinds of people: those who let it happen, those who make it happen, and those who wonder what happened. ~ John Richardson
So what lies ahead for the future of Temple Beth Am? As Eleanor Roosevelt stated, “the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” Although we are faced with our share of challenges – finances, declining volunteerism and membership, and an aging demographic – TBA remains our home. As we find ourselves in the beginning of the Omer period, I’d like to direct your attention to a beautiful mitzvah that we will be re-introducing on the second day of Shavuot, right after the Omer ends.
